The UPSC has confirmed on Wednesday that the UPSC CSE Prelims exam will be held on June 27

Every year, UPSC conducted a civil services exam for the selection in Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, and other civil services through a preliminary exam, the main exam, and a personal interview.

Now, Candidates can start applying for the prelims exam at the official website upsc.gov.in once the notification is out. The preliminary test consists of paper-I and II, both MCQ based questions carrying a total of 400 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for Paper II is 33 percent

Moreover, on February 5, it had agreed to give an extra chance as a one-time relaxation to those civil service aspirants, who had exhausted their last attempt in the 2020 exam and are otherwise not age-barred.
